March 21, 2013, Salem, IndianaDennis Bullington, 71, Salem, passed away at 5:42 p.m., Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
Born Nov. 15, 1941, in Valeene, Ind., he was the son of Carl and Ruth Beaty Bullington.
On June 6, 1964, he married Jane Bundy, who survives. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired self-employed carpenter. He was a member of Valeene Wesleyan Church and the 2011 Indiana State Checker Champion of American Checkers Federation.
He is survived by his wife of Salem; three daughters, Robin Anderson, Paoli, Stacy Duke, English, and Amy Eastridge, Salem; a sister, Sandy Goodpaster, Paoli; a brother, Jim Bullington, Marengo, six grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Grinder; two brothers, Stanley Bullington and Dave Bullington.
Visitation is set for Saturday, from 3 to 8 p.m., at McAdams Mortuary in Paoli. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, at 2 p.m., at the mortuary with Brother David Manship and Brother Harvey McAdams officiating. Obituary Link
